With federal interest rates rising, there are now some great savings accounts with lots of free, convenient features that also have a good annual percentage yield (APY). All of the accounts listed here are FDIC insured and most have no monthly maintenance fees. Direct deposits or a minimum balance may be required to avoid monthly maintenance fees or receive a higher interest rate.Many banks have also removed monthly withdrawal transaction limits after the Federal Reserved removed Regulation D requirements in April 2020. Regulation D was a federal law that kept customers from making more than six withdrawals or transfers per month from a savings or money market account.
