$200 welcome bonus if you open and fund a new Rewards Checking Plus account through Upgrade and make 3 qualifying purchases on your Upgrade OneCard and/or Rewards Checking Plus debit card within 60 days of the date the Rewards Checking Plus account is opened. If you have previously opened a checking account through Upgrade or do not open a Rewards Checking Plus account as part of this application process, you are not eligible for this welcome bonus offer. Your Upgrade OneCard and Rewards Checking Plus account must be open and in good standing to receive a bonus. The bonus will be applied to your Rewards Checking Plus account as a one-time payout credit within 60 days after meeting the conditions.
To get 3% or 2% cash back on your Upgrade OneCard, you must open a Rewards Checking or Rewards Checking Plus account through Upgrade and either (1) activate the Pay Now feature on your OneCard and keep that feature linked to your Rewards Checking account or (2) maintain each month a qualifying active Rewards Checking Account with at least $1,000 in direct deposits per month. If you meet these conditions, you will accrue 3% cash back for common everyday OneCard purchases at convenience stores, drugstores, restaurants, bars and gas stations, as well as recurring payments on utilities and monthly subscriptions including phone, cable, TV and other streaming services. You will accrue 2% cash back for all other OneCard purchases. 3% cash back is limited to $500 in rewards per calendar year; after $500, you will accrue 2% cash back. If you do not meet the above conditions, you will accrue 1.5% cash back for all purchases.
